Overall food was average and service subpar. Unfortunately Lucy's doesn't match the level of service that bardessono offers. Fried avocado was really good, albeit least healthy . Ahi tuna was 3 very small pieces of tuna , average taste. Beef short rib was ok, but needed to cooked longer and be more tender. Polenta was too heavy with butter and cream and all I could taste Duck was way overcooked, even though we ordered medium and didn't feel sending it back since it took 25mins for main course to come out after appetizers , even though there was only 1 more table in the restaurant. Side of Mushrooms and vegetables local, fresh and super tasty even though we requested to be cooked in olive oil , and not butter. Our bottle of wine was opened and served a glass to us once, remainder of the meal we had to fill our glasses and remind them to fill up our water glasses despite 3 different waiters switching serving us. I guess there is a reason the place was not busy at all during the week we stayed at bardessono , even though all restaurants in the area were always booked and full every night. I hope they make some changes to improve their food offerings and service in order to stay competitive with other restaurants in the yountville area.
