This place serves authentic “karinderia” style Filipino food. It’s home cooked food without the fuss. Wuality of the food and serving portions were exceptional and it was really cheap. The dinuguan and lechon kawali were amazing. The halo halo was good too but could be better. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: A$1–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Was craving for some authentic Filo food and Lutong Pinoy didn't disappoint! :) I enjoyed the dinuguan and lechon paksiw OMG! I travelled back to the Phils with my tastebuds. We were both looking forward to the halo-halo but there was no ube ice cream (which is reasonably hard to find here in Aus) so all good.
IF YOU PLAN TO GIVE IT A GO, BRING CASH!!! They only accept cash which surprised us cos it was stated here that they accept cards. lol
Also one downside is that it's literally inside Footscray Market. If you're fussy with ambience, better to go with takeaway and eat at home. Nonetheless, they're food tastes wonderful for a cheap price! ????
