Ok Have been walking past this place for a while... didn't go in because it never look that busy and the area I lived in before had some amazing Indian places (so my standards are a little high). Also, Surjits is just a block or so away and they are very good... a little on the pricier side of things but still very good. Thought I'd take a chance and went in for dinner. There were 2 people scoffing and wiping their plates clean with naan when I walked in so THAT looked promising. Started chatting with the owner/chef Raj and found out he was from Nth India near Nepal. Now, as a lover of Indian food I knew that meant his traditional food style would be more 'pepper-spicy' than outright chilli and I couldn't wait to try the goat. I find it useful to understand what area the chef comes from with Indian food. It is a big country with many different styles. The southern Indian style is the chilli coconut thing which I love too... but I want traditional stuff based on the chefs history. I ordered a mixed Tandoor Entree and the goat curry, fresh naan and papadums with raita. Oh yeah, did I mention they have a Tandoor...!!! Like... A real one!!! It's BYO so red wine was sorted from our side of the fence. Honestly, if you like Nth Indian style food then you really need to try this place. It is a small kitchen and minimal staff but the food was great, really! Don't Uber deliver the stuff. Grab a bottle of wine, head in there and have a chat to Raj and get him to recommend something. EVERYTHING we had was excellent. There were one or two burnt bits but that just means it came out of a proper tandoor oven and even the burnt crispy bits were nice! The price is extremely reasonable. I almost want to give it a bad review so I can just keep it a quiet local place that is under the radar. Actually... yeah, screw it, don't go. But it the best reasonable priced Indian food I have had in Sydney in a long time.

Booked through Eat Club app(40% discount). Loved the chilly chicken, ordered Lahori chicken as it was chef recommended but the lahori chicken was too sour in taste and chicken Tikka masala was too sweet. One thing which pissed me off was that they didn't allow me to take away my leftover eaten food as they said you cannot takeaway if you have booked through eat club on a discount coupon. I don't see any such tnc on Eat Club app that you cannot takeaway your own left overs. Not sure if I would want to visit again.

Restaurants along Parramatta Road probably don’t get a fair share of passing trade and it was only thanks to the Eat Club app that we discovered this Indian restaurant in Annandale. With discounted dining offers during slower periods, we weren’t surprised to be the only customers at the restaurant, and it was 4.30pm on a Sunday after all.

All the food was very enjoyable; from the butter chicken to the spicy chicken vindaloo, and peas paneer curry (peas cooked with cottage cheese with medium hot sauce). We must have had about five serves of naan bread, it was so delicious! There was a delay in the “Gobi 65”, a restaurant specialty of cauliflower marinated and deep fried, and tossed in the chef’s special spices. It was apparent why when we saw one of the staff come through the front door with a whole head of cauliflower; they’d run out of cauliflower due to the popularity of the dish during a busy lunch trade. It was worth the wait - the deep fried cauliflower is a shocking bright red and intensely flavoured with a good hit of heat.
