This 'trattoria' has found its niche as a tourist restaurant, my fault for reading Business Insider. It's a steakhouse, so must say that the steak was great, but not in the top 10 I've ever had.Had the set meal for two, the starter was embarrassing. Bruschette with no flavour at all, neither the tomato one nor the unrecognisable grey puree one. The hams and salamis served were genuinely awful, as bad as I'd expect in a supermarket own brand 'salami', nothing but salt and fat: inedible. Being in Tuscany and eating that was embarrassing. The steak was very good, no debate, but not blow your mind good, which in Florence it should be. I was happy again after the starters, but then the bill comes. When you book you're presented with a variety of discounts but then when you pay you're informed that they don't apply to their set meal, the one everyone gets. I was told to have read the small print on the menu. I don't go to a restaurant to read the terms and conditions or the small print. Congratulations, you've turned what could have been a satisfactory experience into the bitter feeling of being ripped off. Tourist trap = avoid.

The best steak restaurant in Florence. Food was really good. I ordered the set menu of Appetizer, side dishes, mineral water and the steak, and it was worth it! The steak was so good even if I only ate it just like that, but still you can eat it with 3 sauces. Not only the food, I found that the service was also the best during my trip in Italy. Friendly and very welcome staffs, lots of freebies too! the staffs really took care of you and paid attention to what you want. Good job! Plus the staff named Gregor was awesome!
