if you're in the mood for great Mexican food, exceptional service, and a casual cowboy-meets-Mexican atmosphere, Magpie & Stump is the place to be. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to satisfy their cravings for delicious Mexican cuisine while enjoying a memorable dining experience. Oh boy, cocktails were absolutely brilliant! The hard cocktails served at Magpie & Stump were expertly crafted and packed a punch. Each sip was a delightful blend of flavors that perfectly complemented the Mexican cuisine. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. Coming from Southern California I have eaten really good Mexican food and this restaurant misses the mark in almost every way. The service was great! Five stars! The food was miserably spiced, they seem to have no idea how it is supposed to taste, and not one Mexican in sight to help them. I would get a new chef, imported from Oaxaca and turn this place around. I am sure it is a great place to drink tequila and beer, just do not eat here.

One pilsner, one rose, two enchiladas entrees, $90, and still hungry. Food was good, but not great in my opinion. If I left full, I'd probably give them 4 stars.
