After looking at Design Museum, have a meal at Magu. This restaurant is recommended for the Fusion cuisine offered. Most guests recommend trying good salads, pasta and mushrooms. Some clients like delicious wine at Magu.
This place is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. You will certainly appreciate the cozy atmosphere and nice decor. Google users awarded the score of 4.5 to this spot.

We had the 8-dish vegan taster menu. The portions were just right and we didn't feel stuffed at the end. The dishes were original and mostly good. Some, eg the whole of a mini-lettuce, were less good. The staff were nice but at times the service felt a bit conveyor belt-ish. The atmosphere was low-key and relaxing. I noticed the toilet (accessed from another room) opened out to where there were other diners, which I wouldn't have been happy about if I were sitting there. It was a birthday meal for one of us and we mentioned this in the online booking. We might have expected a little treat but alas nothing. Magu is everything a fine-dining restaurant should be! The atmosphere and service was relaxed but still professional, the servers were more than happy to answer any questions we had while providing quality service and the rotating seasonal menus mean that you will experience something new with fresh produce every visit. The renowned chef and Michelin star pastry chef are true creative geniuses that know how to make every ingredient shine on your plate. The fact that this is a completely plant based restaurant does certainly not mean that taste will be compromised. In fact, the way the flavours and textures of the 6 course meal are so meticulously considered is near unparalleled. Having visited with 4 non-vegans who left extremely impressed and satisfied is a testiment! With the course menu at an extremely reasonable price, I highly recommend paying a visit to experience the Magu food journey yourself and is a must visit location in Helsinki!
