Yes, these are very delicious french fries. But they are not any better than the well-cooked steak fries you've presumably had in the United States a million times before. They don't taste "different," "Belgian," "unique" or anything else that would justify making a trip out to this location if not already there. They taste exactly like any other really well-cooked french fries you've had before. They're good, but not even remotely unique.

Maison Antoine's hype is definitely worth it and not an understatement. Their Crispy fries well seasoned with salt along with their wide array of exquisite sauces is the recipe for their success. My recommendation the tartare sauce which is mayo seasoned with herbs and some other secret ingredients Sizes are generous and if you're really ambitious you can go with a larger size for less than a euro more. Once you go maison Antoine, you can't go back. I am living proof of deception after trying another fries joint. Remember, calories don't count ;-)
