You can always try perfectly cooked kacamak, beef and beef tartare at this restaurant. Most guests recommend trying tasty vanilla ice cream. You will hardly forget delicious Merlot, liqueur or house wine that you can drink.
Majerija is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Also, visitors recommend this place because of adequate prices. You will certainly like the cozy ambiance and terrific decor. As for the Google rating, this spot earned 4.7.

Just ate at the restaurant and we were really hungry when we left, a pasta starter requested as a main course...they charged me more but there must have been 3 tagliatelle extra. The carafe of water for 5eur because of the special filter system (we had wine next door) never seen that in Slovenia. Suggestion: go eat elsewhere, you'll find better, that's for sure. We have been to this place several times; twice for dinner and once for a wedding. The food is some of the best in Slovenia, and the best I have ever had. The food is seasonal, fresh and of the highest quality. The ambiance is peaceful, elegant and humble. It is the best of high class Slovenian hospitality, with personal, above and beyond care matched with the simplicity of Slovenian farm culture. We stayed at the venue for the wedding, and the rooms were clean, beautiful and unique. The underground rooms are interesting and unique, and set the accommodation apart from others like it. The breakfast was also of the highest quality - local salami, cold cuts, and preservatives. All employees are kind, helpful and incredibly professional. They were responsive to changes during the wedding, and took great care of all guests even when events changed during the day. It was the best wedding I have attended, and I attribute it largely to the help of the Majerija owners and staff. I would highly recommend this place for any special event or elegant dinner.
