I have never dined in but ordered takeaway on multiple occasions. Very happy that a decent Malaysian place has popped up servicing the areas of (Gladstone park, Broady, Westmeadows, Greenvale, Roxy etc) like we don't even have a Japanese or Vietnamese restaurant its quite sad actually. Nonetheless Malaysian Home cuisine and café is quite good, the service is friendly and prompt if you decide to order takeaway. Curry laksa is full flavored and not shy with the heat and absolutely not watered down to suit milder palates which is fantastic considering the predominant choices of a lot of the locals seem geared towards basic pizza's and fish & chips, Roti Canai is also done well although I am a tad disappointed with serving size, I understand its an entrée size but compared to Laksa King in Flemington and West Wok in Campbellfield its tiny. Fried rice is wok fried with a fragrant 'wok kissed' toasted aroma, Satay skewers had lemongrass flavours shining through, Hainanese chicken rice was decent although not served with its clear soup accompaniment, Char Kuay teow is standard and seemingly authentic and very happy with their selection of roast pork, duck and bbq pork. The prices are very good value if you compare them with Kongs Bistro up the road. I hope they stay and hopefully introduce delivery in the near future.
