Me and my family were going to have a little snack by the end of the afternoon after visiting the city and we're given a table in Mama Gina. Since I had seen it on TripAdvisor, I was really excited to try it. But well, the waiter refused to serve us since we were ordering only 2 pizzas for five.
I have visited hundred restaurants in various countries; I've had great experiences and less good ones; but never have I been treated this way! Never have I been so shamed in a restaurant and compelled to complain!
I understand the need of netting a nice bill from a group of five people, but it's not like people were crowding outside to enter - in fact, only about half of the tables had people anyway. Also, they have no authority over people's hunger to decide what is acceptable for 5 persons to eat. Besides, they had no way to know it was the only thing we were going to eat or not.
This restaurant is nothing but a thorn in Bonifacio and a dirt stain in an otherwise amazing experience in Corsica.
