Very disappointed, first ever visit to Mangapapa for a birthday celebration hightea. Appalled with the service, definitely not 5 star at all. Our champagne not delivered, we had to ask for drinks and even for staff to take our coffee/tea orders. the Food was lovely, but very disappointed in the service Service: 1

It was a pleasure that I worked and experienced the High Tea and food at this place. I can truly and honestly say the food tastes great! The location is exquisite as it is quite isolated meaning it is peaceful and quiet. In addition, it is not far from the City Centre, so that's a plus. Nearby activities: Te Mata Peak trek. Arataki Honey Centre. Hastings Showground Events. Hastings and Havelock City Centres. Wine Tasting in nearby wineries. Safety: Safe as the place is isolated and only one way entry and exit. Walkability: You'll need a car to roam around when in Mangapapa at the place is isolated which makes it safe and quiet. Noteworthy details: No walk-in, reservations are required for High Tea and Dinner. Offers 3 and 5 course dinners. Can be booked for functions. Rooms: 4 Service: 4 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Luxury, Great view, Romantic, Quiet, Great value

We were lucky enough to have a 3 course dinner at Mangapapa. This is one of the best meals I've had in a long time. Planning on visiting again as soon as possible. Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Luxury, Romantic
