Okay, let me start by saying that I've eaten at a lot of starred restaurants, and this one was just downright disappointing. I wanted to try the best items, so I asked the waiter what items he recommended. I took his suggestions and ordered the octopus appetizer and  the urchin pasta. Both were sub-par. The pasta was completely under-seasoned. I don't think they put a pinch of salt in that dish, which is terrible, because it had potential to be great, but it just fell flat. The octopus was overdone and very chewy. I couldn't even finish my portion. The best part of the whole meal was the focaccia bread and also the mini tiramisu that came out with the coffee! I could have eaten seventy of those!   Overall, this doesn't live up to the hype. I would pass if I was you. If you want great seafood, check out Seafire Grill instead and for pasta, I would hit up Carbone!
A very nice, classy ambience , offering pretty wide selections. Large place but fully booked. Wine list is also extensive, I just didn't like having to walk downstairs to the restroom.
Best seafood pasta in nyc. Their pasta in general is just of a different category. You have to go and try it to understand. Expensive but worth the splurge! Also good service , space between tables and not loud.
