I went here last night with my boyfriend to celebrate his birthday. We ordered Escargot, Steak Frite, Beef Wellington, Asparagus, Chocolate Cake and three cups of cocktail. The food was great and the waitress was really nice. Everything was perfect. BUT when we were back home, both of us had really bad stomachache and diarrhea. It was so bad that we still didn't feel well the day after. Since Escargot and Chocolate Cake were two only things we both had that day, I suppose that it was the food at this restaurant caused diarrhea. The food tasted great I have to say but I don't want get diarrhea again so I don't think I will go here again.
They have dollar oyster after 9pm everyday. We always like to go after work. Food is delicious!
I would give this place somewhere between 3-4 stars. I came for dinner - the ambiance was quiet & romantic, staff was okay, food was pretty solid - it's just missing the wow factor. I think a good summary from what I ordered would be that the sauces were amazing, but the meats are a bit tough. Henry's Soup - French Onion, Gruyere, Short Ribs, & Crouton Every time I see french onion soup on the menu, I want to order it. But every time I get it, I regret it because it comes out so salty, but I feel like that's what the soup will always be soooo thumbs up. But I dig the short ribs! Little Neck Clams & Oysters with Cocktail Sauce, Prosecco, & Lemon Nice, clean, & fresh! Beautiful way to start off the meal. Scallops with Sweet Potato Ravioli, Mixed Mushrooms, & Pumpkin Seeds I loved the combo of this dish a lot. The scallops were a bit overcooked, but worked well with the ravioli (which were awesome), & I loved the mushrooms. Scampi with Linguini Shrimp, White Wine, Tomato, Garlic, & Lemon This sauce was soooo goooood, I loved it! The scampi was a bit tough but still good, & tomato, garlic & lemon are always nice touches. Sunday Gravy - Gnocchi, San Marzano Tomatoes, Lamb, Pork, & Beef Although the gnocchi was a bit heavy & the meats were a also bit tough, but the sauce was also soooo good. Wellington - Medium Rare Beef Tenderloin, Mixed Mushrooms, Foie Gras, Pastry Crust  & Red Wine Sauce I know it seems small, but it's delicious. The combo worked nicely with the mushrooms and foie, & the pastry crust was a unique touch. Cut Fries with Truffle Oil & Reggiano Ummm I can never say no to fries with truffile oil & cheese. It was fire. Asparagus with Reggiano & Extra Virgin Olive Oil So simple & clean, I liked it! It was a nice side & they were cooked well. Bacon Fat Roasted Brussels Sprouts This dish was kind of bland as the brussels sprouts were a bit undercooked. I was excited about the bacon fat, but it just turned out to be really oily.
