Okay, maybe this review will get removed, since Marly and Moo has been replaced for quite some time, but when I noticed that they had exactly 666 reviews, I just felt like I needed to help them out by writing review #667. I came to Marly and Moo exactly once, shortly before they closed forever, with fellow Yelp Elite Evangelina. We split the Drunken Burger: a grass-fed local beef patty topped with applewood smoked bacon, maple bourbon barbecue sauce, Gruyere (I think), mayo, lettuce, and tomato. All of this was served on a pretzel bun, split in half and topped with pickles. For sides we had tater tots and mac and cheese. By the time we arrived, we were already slightly to moderately buzzed from a day of pampering and mimosas at Kismet Beauty Parlor. This did not stop us from ordering more drinks. I had the Blackberry Smash, and she had the Cider Stand Cocktail. The Blackberry Smash was a mixture of Botanist gin, mint, muddled blackberries, simple syrup, and lemon. It was so good that Botanist became my new second favorite gin (after Hendrick's). Everything was so amazing, and we had such a great experience, that both of us vowed to come back-- but by the time I tried, they had been replaced by Plank Craft Kitchen and Bar. This seems to be an ongoing theme with this building-- great restaurant opens, everyone loves it, and it closes anyway. If I could eat at Marly and Moo again, I would, but I can't, so I won't.
