Very good food, and it is a very well decorated restaurant compared to the other restaurant close by. Relatively fast service, and good quality food. The price is a bit high, but it is also quality food. Full set meal was approximately 11000. Free parking close by.Absolutely recommended! Be prepared to spend 10 k per head for a 2 course plus drink.
Down to earth and pleasant atmosphere with a unique local cuisine. Portions were large and seafood heavy, showcasing Icelandic ingredients which was quite unique! Big fan of the fish head dish
The food is absolutely delicious, although the portions may be a bit small if you're looking to get the most bang for your buck. The wait staff is lovely, and the chefs prepare the food right in front of you in the open kitchen, which is a real treat -- especially for people who love taking photos like me. Ambiance is lovely: the large windows let in a lot of light during lunch and the decorations provide for a nice eclectic atmosphere. The restaurant is also in the same building as a small museum of old Icelandic artifacts, relics and tools, and there's a kids section where they can play dress up and also a nice little gift shop for souvenirs.
