Consistently popular in Quincy, this spot serves up generous portions with reliable quality. Despite its ample space, expect weekend lines—a testament to its enduring appeal. Yet, the wait is always worthwhile. Personally, I stick to the classic: two eggs, bacon, home fries, and toast, all consistently delicious. The home fries, in particular, stand out with their perfect seasoning and cooking. The dedicated staff ensure guests are well taken care of. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

From Texas and wanted breakfast before I left. Of course I got the country breakfast with all bacon and I’m amazed I was able to finish all but the potatoes. Our server Laurie was warm and patient with the children at our table, including myself, as I spilled a glass of water within minutes of being sat. My friends live nearby and this was their first time. They will def be coming back and I will to when I visit again. Mckays Breakfast & Lunch is a nice, spacious breakfast place located in Quincy. I went on a Saturday afternoon with a group of five and to my surprise, there was no wait! The waiters and staff were very friendly and the food was inexpensive and good. I would definitely recommend this place to go with a group of friends or for a solo lunch. If I'm ever in the area again and craving breakfast, Mckays would be my first choice!
