Recently, a group of associates from PFG Northcenter had an opportunity to dine at McKay's Public House . As a group, we tried several appetizers, among the favorites were the mussels, the bacon wrapped scallops and baked Brie. The flavor was through the roof! My main course was the Mediterranean Haddock. The fish was flakey and moist and the seasoning and creamy feta were exquisite. The dish was served in its own cast iron skillet that arrived hot and bursting with aroma. The fish melted in your mouth and was paired with crisp fingerling potatoes and stir fried green beans. Did I mention? The wine selection is phenomenal! This perfect dining experience was complete when desert was served. The sticky toffee pudding was to die for! It was absolute buttery sweetness. The boozy moose was an amazingly rich chocolate experience. We left will full bellies and smile on our faces. If your pallet calls for the perfect mix of culinary temptations, McKay's will not disappoint. Be prepared to walk away satisfied. You will be back. I know I will.
