Mi Pueblo Authentic is a great Mexican restaurant located in Menifee, California. It offers authentic Mexican food with a wide variety of options. From carne asada to tacos to burritos, there's something for everyone. Customers have praised the restaurant for its quick service and delicious food. The Carne asada was described as tender and juicy, while the taco shells were not greasy at all. The guacamole was also top-notch. The Huevos Rancheros was very good and filling, and the shredded beef tacos were also delicious. The carnitas tacos were said to be the best this side of the border. The chicken and carnitas burritos were a favorite, although sometimes the pork and chicken were a bit dry. The grilled chicken quesadilla and rolled tacos were also good. The prices are reasonable and better than most franchises. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they take phone orders. On Tuesdays, customers can get two fish tacos for $2 or shredded beef or chicken tacos for $1.70. All in all, Mi Pueblo Authentic is a great place to go for Mexican food. The food is fresh and tasty, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
Food is simply "okay". However, When I asked for a baggie to grab jalapeños from the salsa bar I was told I could not get any because they were being allocated for tomorrows salsa bar.. umm what? Lol.
Where the locals eat, that's what an election coworker who lives in Menifee told me as we sat around bored and talking about food. I scouted the location afterward to ensure that I got the most out of the lunch hour. Inside, it's more spread wide than deep, and I placed my order then grabbed a seat. I wondered about the two condiment cups the lady doled out until I read other reviews. It's still unclear what expense they're concerned about: the cost of the cups or condiments, including salsas? I ordered a couple different things to make the best assessment of what is likely my only visit. Two tacos, one each carnitas and carne asada, and the taquitos plate. It took a little while to come up, and I noticed they do a steady take-out business. Once it all came out I retrieved it and was surprised to see the tacos on a basic paper plate. The taquitos tasted a lot better than they looked, so B- for looks. The tacos were decent, I appreciated the carnitas weren't dry, which is a common problem. Overall, good. Not great, but not too expensive either, so there's that.
This place is flavorless crap. Best thing about our meal was the Dr. Pepper which I don't even like. Mi Pueblo Authentic? Nothing authentic about this place.... Don't waste your money.
