We were very disappointed with our meal last night. While the drinks and service were good, the food has taken a giant step down, especially the sushi. The gyoza were of a lesser quality than in the past and the rolls we ordered were much smaller, dry with less toppings and no sauce. It was a jarring difference from our visit last year. The fish did not taste fresh and the best part of the meal was the fried chicken. The desserts were tiny and appeared to have been bought from TJs - one sole piece of mochi cut in half and a very dry lava cake.

Overpriced, and the quality of the food of a small ma and pa shop. Will not go back there ever again. I think that if I spend $200.00 on a dinner out, the quality of the food and the service should match the prices. Instead, small portions and skimping on seafood is what we got. From start to finish, our trip to Mikuni Elk Grove was fantastic. Staff was helpful and nice and the food was tasty. Highly recommend and will be returning for the zig-zag roll very soon.Kid-friendliness: Crayons and sheet of fun activities
