Just a fantastic bar. Great selection of wines and decent prices too. The food was delicious as well. Plus, the service was outstanding from multiple servers throughout. Polite, efficient, informed, warm and sometimes very funny. It’s a wonderful place. A must visit in beautiful Ballarat Price per person: A$40–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Went to Mitchell Harris wines for a drink with friends prior to going out to dinner. Staff friendly and helpful. Ended up enjoying two bottles of their Savignon Blanc @$47 a bottle. Heading off to dinner. Imagine our horror when the restaurant we went to sold the same wine from Mitchell Harris @ $25 a bottle, almost half the cost of the actual company that probably supplied them. This left us feeling ripped off and really disappointed. I'd of expected the restaurant to be more expensive than the winery/bar itself.

Hi Anna. Thanks so much for coming into Mitchell Harris and for purchasing our very popular Sauvignon Blanc. Who ever is selling our Sauvignon for $25 per bottle is virtually giving it away for very little if any profit. Our cellar door price and RRP is $30 per bottle. Most other restaurants sell this same wine for $60 or more. It is very difficult for us to dictate at what price others wish to sell our products. Perhaps they were discounting our wine to run it off their list. I don't know. I'm sorry that this experience has left you feeling ripped off, but it is somewhat beyond our control. Please keep enjoying the MH Sauv Blanc at the MH bar or where ever you can find it. Thanks, John.
