I meant to write a review sooner, but forgot. We had lunch at Monsoon last month and sadly was really disappointed in the food. We had requested to speak to the kitchen to let them know of some flaws, but they were unavailable. We ordered the bo la lot, a vermicelli bowl and ordered an imperial roll on the side as we recalled loving it, and a beef pho. The pho sadly was missing the aromas from the spices and therefore just tasted like a flavored beef broth. The vermicelli was broken as though it was reheated or overcooked. The imperial roll had an unpleasant smell, which usually comes from the wood ear mushrooms not being washed well or left too long and the wrap was chewy. There was an initial crunch (more hard than crispy) and then it was chewy, which is not how it was. I don't know if we'll be back any time soon. Lastly, for the price we paid, and the food we ordered, I was not fully and I usually don't order anything extra other than a main dish. Great experience! The Sesame chicken was great, along with all the other appetizers and entrees we ordered. Customer service here was up to par. Nice mix of music was being played to add to the vibes. Parking may be tough to find in the evenings. Great eats here! My SO, friend and I had a fantastic time at Monsoon Bellevue, delicious food, great atmosphere and extremely friendly staff. I got the Pork Ribs which were delicious (warning: food coma! ) while my friend had the Drunken Chicken (spicy!) and SO had a salmon dish. Definitely check this place out if you are looking for a unique place to eat in Bellevue!
