The owners of Montiel deserve much credit for their courtesy and attentiveness. The wait staff is top notch and knows how to properly serve high caliber gourmet food. The chefs prepare every course with utmost conscientiousness and talent. We had the vegan menu, in which every dish was exotic and visually appealing. I recommend the vegan cheese plate, which was a highlight of the meal. And don’t skip the desserts - they are a pleasure.
Amazing! Every single course was delightful! Very well recommended! Decent price quality ratio too! The staff was nice but very busy, didn't invest as much into the conversation as I'd expect from this level of restaursnt. If you go, book the whole night. We didn't mind the pauses between the meals which helped us to phase ourselves and not get too overwhelmed, but there were times when these pauses became a bit too long. We had to ask them to bring all desserts at once because at 11pm we still had 3 courses to go. There was a huge group nearby us that was likely contributing to a slightly slower than usual service.
Amazing amazing amazing. Amazing food, amazing wine, amazing staff. We were blown away by the tasting menu and struggled not to lick the plates clean... from stunning dishes like pear & duck ravioli to more unexpected delights like mushroom and vegan cheese salad (I'll be dreaming of this one). Just go!
