The food at Mr. wok is always fresh, hot and authentic. They have a wide selection to choose from. My suggestion----get the combos, either the beef or spicy Pork Bulgogi with soft tofu soup. That will give a good idea of what Korean food and Mr. Wok is all about.

We come here with my husband's friends, food was delicious so we decided to come back, anddd I should say the second time we order the exact same but the food was ehhh. Actually it was flavorless. So that's why Mr. Wok with all my respect  I have to give you 4 starts because you need to keep the same flavor in your dishes to keep us happy
Adventure Guide
It’s 5:17, my brother and I are with my dad in his big red monster of a truck headed to a Korean restaurant that we all love and know. Mr. Wok is one of my favorite places to eat with my family and friends. In fact, one of our closest friends introduced this delicious place to us. (These family friends now live in Korea!) It is near downtown Boise and looks is a small building but I love the food, the service, and that it is always so clean and welcoming. I love this restaurant and I go here often and I want you to come and try it out.First, the food at Mr. Wok is like no other because there is no other restaurant that I know of like it! They are really well known for their low prices and delicious teriyaki popcorn chicken. It’s to die for, and we get it almost every time but this time we got a small order. When we went, my brother got to pick our table. We sat at one of the cushioned tables that were against a wall by a TV that was playing music videos on Youtube. On the other side of the room, there was another TV that was playing sports (I think it was either soccer or baseball.). But it had a lot of static and was on a wall that was actually a huge mirror. The restaurant was all one room and really small, except for the kitchen, but it’s welcoming and just generally a cute restaurant to go to. When our waiter came around, he took our order and got us some drinks (two glasses of water and a Coke). We ordered one big bowl of ramen, a teriyaki chicken plate, and two hot stone bowls. All of these foods were really yummy and flavorful! When they brought our food, it was plated excellent and looked scrumptious! The ramen was in a black glossy bowl and had an egg, cabbage, carrots, and other foods cut up on top of the soup bowl of noodles. The chicken was on a black oval-shaped plate on top of a wooden plater, covered in teriyaki sauce and sesame seeds. The stone bowls were also in black bowls but these were not the smooth glossy bowls. These were like rock bowls. It was weird. When our waiter brought it out, It was really confuseing because all it looked like was rice and steamed carrots, cabbage, weird onions, and a raw egg! I was bedazzled! Then I saw Dad stir all of these things together. When I did this, I burnt myself on the bowl and realized why it was called a hot stone! (We also had to pay around 30ish dollars for everything.)Second, the service at Mr. Wok is really outstanding and the people who work there are super nice! They welcomed us in and let us sit wherever we’d like to. They were very helpful, and they came to check on us multiple times. I have even met the owner before. He would usually come over by our table near when we are finishing up and get me and brothers a piece of candy. But, tonight he didn’t come over. Overall, I think the service that we had was excellent.Third, the restaurant was very clean. It had newly looking swept and mopped floors. And the table we sat at had a clean surface that looked as if it was recently cleaned thoroughly. And from where we sat, I could see that the kitchen was spotless and that there were all of these fancy cooking tools hanging on a shiny metal looking wall! It looked really cool and super clean. In conclusion, I give this trip a 9 out of 10. I loved the food we got, the service we had was excellent, and the restaurant was spotless. I will definitely go there with my family again. I would recommend this yummy restaurant to anyone who enjoys to try new exotic things. And now I want you to come to try out this exotic, amazing, and mind-blowing restaurant!
