From a visit spring 2021: Went in for some good asian food and found mostly chicken dishes, not what we'd wanted. Finally found the "right" menu and ordered Spicy Pork Bulgogi and hot stone bibimbap. Although we were the only two people in the restaurant (literally), it took quite a while to get our meals, and it was not spicy as we had asked. When finished, we had to hunt for cash as they said their credit card machine was broken. Average experience.

CLOSED.  After the most recent owner added Von's Chicken franchise to his service line up the once good for traditional Korean food eatery went downhill.   We stopped going in.  I guess those who came for the glutton sized servings of spicy Korean fried chicken off the Von's menu couldn't keep it afloat because sometime in October'ish 2021 this is now closed for good.  New owners have opened a Japanese food eatery in this space.

I keep hoping I will find an amazing Korean Restaurant in Boise.  Mr. Wok just didn't hit the mark. This restaurant is sort of a rundown hole-in-the-wall place.  The interior is plain and the bathroom was downright dirty.  If I had gone to the bathroom first, I wouldn't have eaten there. We ordered a banchan set.  It came out in a styrofoam tray with a couple of the "bowls" made of foil shaped into a bowl.  That's a weird presentation.  The kimchi tasted stale.  None of the banchan dishes were that good. The spicy beef bulgogi was decent.  It came out super fast, almost too fast to be fresh.  The sticky rice was good too. My companion's beef dishes tasted stale, not off, but like they had been reheated. I wanted to love this place.  They have decent prices and they had a good amount of carryout customers coming in while we dined in.  But overall, I felt that the restaurant was not that clean and the food tasted stale.
