Shrimp and grits
We had planned to go to different restaurant that was closed on July 4th and stumbled into Muriel's. This was the first restaurant we went to in New Orleans and it did not disappoint. The service was great and the food was even better. If you're a fan of shrimp, definitely get the shrimp creole.
One of my favorites now for sure. So much history to this restaurant, with the gorgeous Seance Room upstairs and the table setup for the Resident Ghost. The service was amazing and the food (we had the Coolinary option) was all amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant!
