Ordered from Door dash. Food was very good - but for the price you couldnt even put a whole piece of pita??? 10 French fries and a couple tablespoons of rice pilaf? Really? It's come to this.

This was a disaster. I give them a F for service, and F for delivery, and a F- for attitude. We ordered dinner with 3 main dishes, a salad and an appetizer to be delivered. On their web site you can choose to use Door Dash or "Order Save". I choose Order Save, but it turns out it was Door Dash anyway. When the order showed up it was missing one of the main dishes. Ok, this happens, I get it, so I called them. This is when the the disaster started to take place. The first person said the only way she could resolve this was to have me come and pick up the missing item. I told her the whole reason for delivery is so one doesn't have to pick up the food. She said that is all she could do. No credit was offered. I said forget it and hung up. Note, I am not trying to save money here - I tipped the staff and the driver on the order. The owner then called and said he looked the "the cameras" and all items where put in the bag. Really? Well all items weren't delivered. I asked that they deliver the missing item, he said he had no delivery people available. I suggested he Uber to me and he refused. I then asked for a credit for the item not delivered and he said I would have to talk to Door Dash because their driver must have taken the item. He also said he couldn't credit any of the item because the charge was with Door Dash. When I said I entered my credit card on his web site he said that did not matter. Now when I look at my credit card statement, sure enough the charge is from "MYKONOS KUZINA GREEK RESTAURANT". Of course I will dispute this charge, but really... They don't take responsibility for orders placed on their own web site? And the entire time arguing with me at every step as I had a guest waiting to eat? I have seen some bad service and attitude in my day, but this tops it all. Do yourself a favor and all of us a favor, never order delivery from this place, and better yet, avoid it all together. EDIT: The owner answered my review and I had to reply. I think if you read his response you will see the exact bad attitude I am speaking about. I put my credit card number in his order form on his web site. The charge that was on my AMEX came from his restaurant. He may have some issue with his e-commerce provider, but that is his issue. When I trust a vendor with my credit card I assume they will take responsibility for my trust. Not so with this guy. Also, he thinks I have to call his credit card vendor to straighten out a problem he created? He should a) be taking care of the problem, and b) dealing with his bank not asking me to call them. Next - he said "Asking me to prepare food and Uber to your house is just not something I can do nor any of my staff" What? Isn't that what you do all night every night? You staff can't make another Gyro plate? You can't give it to a delivery person like you do 100 times a night? You are right I said (once) this is BS, and I will say it again now. BS. You say you process a large amount of take out and carry out orders - enjoy this, because with your attitude and service level, something tells me you won't be doing for long. And BTW, for the 3rd time (once last night and twice today) you are full of yourself, and BS. I will dispute the charge. EDIT2: This guy really doesn't get it. The food is the responsibility of Mykonos from the moment I press "order" on their web site to the time I take delivery at my door from their chosen delivery service. It is ridiculous to expect that the customer should spend time trying to untangle a problem Mykonos created. If there was a warning that when an order is placed that Mykonos takes no responsibility and any problems will need to be resolved between the customer and the delivery service then Mykonos might have a shred of credibility. But there is no warning. Of course there isn't - because everyone would stop right there and not place the order. If it is so easy to call the service that Mykonos chose to deliver their product, then why would Mykonos expect me to call? I didn't create this problem. This was lame, lazy finger pointing. Hello, this is Alex, the owner, like I said during our phone call, when people order online, we do not have access to their credit card number so there is no way for us to refund, otherwise we would. I offered you several times to take down the phone number of the company owner.com, they are very good with issues like this, and you refused. Asking me to prepare food and Uber to your house is just not something I can do nor any of my staff. The only reason I mentioned cameras is so that when you dispute the charge, which I encourage you to do, I can argue our point directly with the company that the food left our establishment whole and intact and something must have happened along the way with their driver, which is their responsibility. However, you kept saying that that is not an acceptable resolution. You proceeded to tell me I am full of the sh word several times, and that's when our conversation ended. On a daily basis we do a large amount of takeout and large carryout orders, and we pride ourselves in accuracy and efficiency. This rarely happens. Again, if you would like to dispute this, I'm willing to let bygones be bygones and provide you with the number to customer support for the third party delivery. Let me know. Edit: I don't know what you are not understanding, you click order online, it brings you to door dash or ordersave.com, they process your transaction, take their taxes, fees and commission, and whatever is left gets deposited to us. We do not have access to anyone's card number, no restaurant does. And all of our take is processed online and picked up by drivers who work for those organizations, I am not understanding why employees or the owners of restaurants will remake food order an Uber Uber to someone's personal address. Drop it off and Uber back to the restaurant, do not have drivers working for our company. All you had to do was call the company tell them something happened while it was in transit and they would resend the order to us or refund your card or whatever solution you wanted them to do. Instead you yelled at my manager, then yelled at me and would not listen even though I repeated it several times and tried to help you. I apologize that this happened, and that you are confused about how third party delivery services work, we tried to assist you the best we could but you seem angry. I am not cocky or arrogant, in fact, like I said on the phone, it's unfortunate but these things do happen every once in a while, and when customers report these issues to us, we give them the same solution, they stay calm and call the company, and it gets solved immediately literally within minutes.
