It was so bad I'm giving only one star and that's to high. We're normally originals but no longer will be going there to eat. I took my family to eat there, the food didn't have any flavor. We ordered Hibachi and the rice was bland, shrimp didn't have any flavor, Chicken was dried no flavor also. My grandkids had the noodles and drenched it with shrimp sauce to try to give it flavor. We told our server who we know well that the food today was bland and had no flavor, we never had that problem before at this restaurant. we're ready to leave to pay the check because we were normal customers, our waitress tells us to wait to see if she can get a discount on our meal due to us not liking it today. Here comes the manager and the first thing she tells us is are we trying to get a free meal and not pay for it. We explained that we were just disappointed with our meal today, that we never had had a problem here before. Why accuse of of trying to get a free meal. Then she tells us if we don't like it to don't bother going there anymore, which we now won't because of her attitude, then she tells us that she's also the owner of the store. We again tell her we're paying our bill that just for today the food was bland. She then again tells us if we don't like it don't bother going there anymore and accuses us of trying to get a free meal when all of us didn't finish our plate because the food was so bland. We almost finished the shrimp sauce to give it flavor. The owner yet again accuses us of trying o get a free meal while I held the check to go pay for a meal that wasn't worth it. As I get up to pay the bill, the manager again tells us if we don't like it, don't go back there again. They just lost some loyal customers due to her attitude. So if you want to risk going to a place to eat with a rude owner who doesn't care if you don't like the food then be our guest. I would say go somewhere else and the food you're paying for.

I tried the drive thru at Nara Japanese Restaurant earlier today and had a wonderful experience. This was my third visit in recent weeks and they did not disappoint! I love the fact that you can drive up to the window and place your order. A smiling and friendly young lady took my order for a teriyaki chicken dinner and I paid just under 10 bucks, very reasonable indeed. The box of food comes out in about 3 or 4 minutes and I'm on my way. The staff there is awesome, as is the food! I pulled over to a nearby parking lot, ready to eat the hot meal. Every part of my meal was amazing and I enjoyed each and every bite! There were outstanding cuts of teriyaki chicken and the rice, brocolli, and sweet carrots were delicious as well! Of course, the shrimp sauce sets it all off into "high gear"!! You get generous portions as well! I definitely recommend Nara Japanese Restaurant for a wonderful and quick meal. This excellent dining experience was the highlight of my day!
