No system. Extremely rude hostess. I received no basic human skills from the hostess when I stumbled in, saw her holding a piece of paper with names standing next to a 6 guests lined up against the wall/door. Naturally I assumed she is the hostess taking names. I asked "are you taking names?". She looked right through me. She started calling out a name from her list. Small place, I thought she didn't hear me...u know what???!!! This place does not deserve my time or any star
Okay. I believe we found the Boston Oyster spot of Boston Oyster Spots. I think we found  the bubbles and pearls of Downtown Boston. 13 Oysters ready to SUCK...I mean SHUCK! Other than oysters they also have Little Necks, Cherrystones, Crab Claws , Shrimp Cocktail, Lobster Cocktail, Anchovy Cocktail, and Octopus Cocktail. But first, please also try the Trillium Citra Tile Cutter Imperial Double IPA. FIRST! Cheers.
4.5. Nice raw bar but didn't much care for mignonette-almost bitter. Scallop crudo phenomenal with English pea (sweetness so smart with the scallop) and Meyer lemon and a generous fleur de Sel. Uni bucatini was outstanding. Uni takes the place of egg in what was otherwise carbonara. Possibly 15% too much pancetta. But the sort of dish you could just snuggle down into. Mackerel Vera Cruz--wow. What are you going to do with such a strong fish as mackerel? Amazing Nicoise-like tomato based sauce, red pepper, extra acid from citrus, olives. Super intense. Their flavor amp goes to 11. And balanced out with a citrusy bright mini salad on top. And an amazing Santorini white. Get there before 11 to be seated at 11:30 opening.
