New Hong Kong Restaurant in Taylor is an amazing spot for Chinese cuisine. From the egg drop soup to the bean sprout eggrolls, this restaurant has it all! The dinner roll is also just the right kind of perfect. Customers rave about the friendly service with a smile and the large portions. Not only is the food delicious, but the owner Chi is also an incredible person that makes customers feel welcome and important. The food is always fresh and flavorful with dishes like sweet and sour chicken, sesame chicken, and pepper steak. Even the pot stickers are huge and doughy. The cherry on top is the plum sauce, which is hard to find in other places. It's no wonder why people come from far and wide to eat at New Hong Kong Restaurant - it's truly the best Chinese food around!

First time eating here. Ordered Pod Thai Beef and Beef fried rice. Quart. Both were very generous. Over stuffed and the food is very good. Highly recommend it. Will be going back. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The sesame chicken needs help!!! I tried twice when my favorite spot was closed and no more. No sesame flavor at all..... Just very sweet and vinegar flavor. The almond chicken is what I know this place for and us delicious. But someone needs to show them how to cook sesame chicken cause that ain't it!

Wow what a disappointment! My son and I ordered carry out food tonight from New Hong Kong Restaurant (Taylor, MI). Sesame chicken dinner, 2 shrimp egg foo young patties with 2 egg rolls. Instead we received a sweet and sour meal, the egg foo young looked terrible with a small container of hard rice and the egg rolls were not fresh. People please look at my egg foo young. What is it? It is huge like the shape and size of a big rock, bulky, and it was stuffed in the container. Definitely not the shape of a patty. I called regarding this and was instructed to bring the food back if not satisfied. I live 25 minutes away and they were closing in 10 minutes (really). We paid $30.20 and the person I spoke with did not seem to care about this concern. Customers "please" review your carry out food before departing the restaurant. Oh and if anyone can suggest a great Chinese restaurant to visit please share the information. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Recommended dishes: Sesame Chicken
