I came here two years ago and it was great. My waiter was beyond attentive and friendly, and the food was perfect. A few days ago I came again hoping to have the same experience, but it was disappointing. Pros: -Food tasted great -"Friendly" server -Lights/scenery Cons: -wait staff are much younger and less genuine -seared ahi gave me food poisoning for two days (I eat a lot of ahi and this has never happened before) -waitress told us to see her up front with the check (which confused us), and we were just told to sit back down at our tables when we walked up there. Overall, can't really help the food poisoning but the service and professionalism has really gone down hill. I hope I can come back later with a better experience.
We went to Nicos per a customer of ours recommendation. It was good and fresh. I got the tacos of the day (swordfish). They also had kid friendly items which made it a good choice for a family lunch. Overall a solid choice for a good meal with good portion sizes
I've never been to Nico's for lunch, and I was pleasantly surprised on my first visit! The food was delicious! I didn't know the restaurant was a counter-service, seat-yourself type of thing during lunch hours. My colleagues and I went in for lunch at around 12pm with less than an hour to spare, so when we walked in and I saw that it was pretty crowded the task at hand was a little daunting. However, service was very fast and we found seats quickly! There were so many yummy options to choose from, but I ended up getting the fried ahi belly and OMG it was delish. The sauce was on point, and the ahi belly was perfect. I'm already thinking about when I can stop by again! I had their lemon bar for dessert and that was yummy too. They also have refillable fountain drinks- winning! Other notes- Parking was easy and the place is clean
