Having seen Veale Gardens, it's time to have a rest at this restaurant. If you like the Japanese cuisine, you should visit Nishiki Cafe & Izakaya. Spend a good time here and share nicely cooked nigiri, grilled squid and sashimi with your friends. Come to this place for good beer or delicious wine.

I would think the food is good especially for the Adelaide area (I don't want to be biased as I have recently returned from Japan). The place is located in a quiet street, no big flashy sign. The service was good. You can easily spend upward $100 for two. Gyoza tasted a bit strange. The sushi was nice. I would swap veg tempura with karaage.
