Can't comment on the rooms as I didn't stay there. Service for bar and restaurant was slow on three occasions. However, Sunday roast was very nice. Nearby activities: Historic town. Nice walks. Wetlands is about less than a 5 minute drive away, but depending on how fast your walk, would probably take 20+ minutes. Food & drinks: Food nice and beverages are as they should be. Rooms: 3 Service: 2 Location: 4

We got married at the Norfolk Arms Hotel at the end of May 2013 and had an amazing experience with the hotel. From the moment we decided to hold our wedding there (2 years before the day) Nicky the wedding coordinator was amazing, so helpful and answered all queries and questions quickly. She made the whole thing really personal, and so we would like to say a massive thank you to her. The food, drinks and canapes on the day were lovely, really delicious and there seemed to be lots which was brilliant. The honeymoon suite was beautiful, very large and close enough to the room where we were holding our reception that we could pop in and out, e.g. to top up make - up etc. The other rooms on this floor and the floor above were also very large, and so perfect for my bridesmaids and myself to get ready in. In the mornng before the wedding the hotel kindly brought breakfast up to us while we were getting ready which was very kind. The staff were helpful throughout and I would recommend this hotel for a wedding.
