If you happen to be around Newport Beach Pier, visit this fast food. You will be offered nicely cooked lemon bars. Visit North Shore Shave Ice for a break and try good mango ice cream, strawberry ice cream and vanilla ice cream. Get your meal started with delicious piña colada, Mai tai or root beer. At this place, clients may drink great orange mango smoothies, fruit smoothies or chocolate shake.
Most guests state that the staff is terrific. Fabulous service is something visitors appreciate here. A number of people note that prices are reasonable for what you get.

Uhhhh.... YUM! Great shaved ice at a decent price. I typically compare all shaved ice to "Brian's Shaved Ice" in LA. North shore is not only equivalent in taste, but it's ON THE BEACH. Who doesn't want shaved ice on the beach?

Good stop along the beach of you are in Newport. Shakes, waffle comes and I believe home of the original Dilly Bar. The guy working Wednesday night didn't have to be so set in his ways to make the shakes last. I specifically ordered my son's shake first asked if it could be prepared first. This way my Son could start drinking it before the rest of us started eating our ice cream. But this guy was so set in his ways to despite me and show me who was boss. He deliberately made it last and therefore (since they take such a long time to make) when the rest of us had finished eating our ice cream, my Son's shake arrived. He had to have it alone and was forced to rush thru it before we could get back on our bikes. I don't want to discourage others from enjoying this great ice cream or take away points from the shop Owners with a low Star Review, but instead I spent my my money on donuts the rest of the week instead of more ice cream. (Listen to customers they keep you in business and allow your paycheck).

I used to frequent this place a couple of summers ago and really enjoyed having a local close to authentic Hawaiian shave ice. Had a hankering last week for shave ice and made a visit to the beach specially for this treat. Unfortunately it was anything but a treat and a big disappointment. I ordered a fluffy shave ice and got very crunchy ice instead. This shouldn't be called north shore shave ice but rather Newport Beach snow cones. When I asked the kid working, he blamed the ice block and apparently doesn't know how to adjust the blade... even after I complained he just blubbered in about the ice block and didn't know how or want to solve the problem with the ice....won't be returning.
