If hungry, come here for nicely cooked beef and tasty fillet steaks. The high ratings of this steakhouse wouldn't be possible without the terrific staff. Cool service is something that guests note in their reviews. The lovely ambiance may make you want to stay here for a bit more than you've originally planned. I myself have been to Oxery Essen several times, which I discovered with a friend after a New York vacation after arriving in Germany. My friend comes from Denkendorf and knew the restaurant where we wanted to go under the name Linde. Then the surprise on site: now there are fantastic steaks of the best quality. I was there with friends today too. You were also completely satisfied. The meat - I had Argentinian rump steak, with fries, oven vegetables and a pepper sauce - was, as always, incredibly good and the cooking point was perfect. The waiter was often at the table, very attentive, kept asking for drinks etc. So all in all there was nothing wrong with him. In terms of price, it can certainly be classified as higher priced, but the quality absolutely allows it. I/we will definitely come back.
