The best donuts on the planet. Having couple of these donuts is my priority Everytime I visit Dublin. Haven't seen anything like it in Canada or US.
Great selection of Donuts! Friendly staff. I had a few from here and all were tasty! Also the shake was delicious. Will definitely be here again next time I visit Dublin.
Alright so I've been to Offbeat Donut Co. in Pearse Station on multiple occasions but I've never actually got around to reviewing the place. I decided that I would come to their newer store here on the quays and review it instead as it would be a fresher and newer experience for me.Before I get into what the donuts were like, I have to address all of the other aspects of the store. I'll start with the overall look of the place which to me was just incredible, for a new donut business that was established in 2016, Offbeat has taken their business to a whole new level in terms of development and progression. Their original kiosk in Pearse Station was a very small unit that wasn't very suitable to sit big parties of people (it's more so a pickup point than a sit-down joint), where as this new store is immensly bigger with 4 tables that can seat a group of friends.I found that the building was extremely clean and was very well presented, the overall design of the front of the store is very slick and definitely makes the place far more appealing to anyone passing by on the street. On my experience today, the staff were incredible and it goes without saying that customer service is at the top of the game here at Offbeat. I was greated by the guys working behind the counter on my arrival and they waited patiently while I chose what donuts I wanted. They were very helpful with giving me their personal preferences as to what donuts they preferred and I was just delighted to have purchased my baked goods from them.I asked the guys working here as to wether or not I could get a free glazed donut if I gave them a thorough review on Google Maps and I most definitely have to say that they were so kind as to agree to do so. I know that it's only a €2 that was given to me but the sheer care that these workers have for their customers is overwhelming. Amazing staff all and all and it goes without saying that if you're here to get donuts and you too have a good experience with how the workers treat you, a tip is most definitely due.Now on to the good stuff, the meat and bones of why I'm reviewing this establishment, the donuts. My overall experience with the donuts can't be simply summed up so I'll go into detail with all of the aspects of the donuts served here.Let's start with how they're made. If you watch the YouTube video that the Offbeat manager posted regarding how the bakers are in at work at times as early as 3 or 4 in the morning to make the day's donuts, you'll know that Offbeat are so dedicated to giving you fresh donuts on a daily basis. They make a constant and consistent supply of donuts that always replenish the countertop and keep your taste buds satisfied with the freshness of the dough. The selection of donuts that are available here in really what amazes me more than anything, I find that Offbeat has the best selection of flavours compared to places like The Rolling Donut and Krüst. My personal all time favour hasn't changed which stands at the Red Velvet donut that is filled with cream cheese and is iced to perfection which gives it the most amazing flavour. However, it goes without saying that my very close runner up to theRed Velvet donut is definitely the Ferrero Rocher donut which is the most beautiful and luscious chocolate donut that they serve. The donuts melt in your mouth with the softest and freshest dough that could possibly be made into a donut. The donuts range from light and airy (such as the Original Glazed or Cinnamon Sugar) to dense and heavy pasteries (such as the S'mores or Boston Créme). Each donut is to their own and each customer is to their own too, there's no doubt that there's a donut or two that are served here that can please your craving needs for a cheat meal. With an amazing selection and freshly baked donuts being served, it's no wonder that the donuts are flying out the door and word is spreading about Offbeat Donut Co. So don't listen to what I have to say about Offbeat, head down and see/taste it for yourself and you'll see what I mean.Trust me, you won't regret it
