One of the highlights of my semester in Florence. An extensive menu and a chef with a clear passion for food! Highly recommend the meatball sandwich. Fresh ingredients and an amazingly cosy atmosphere made for a little place you have to check out.

Being a college student, I was looking for a cheap sandwich place and stumbled upon The Oil Shoppe. The staff was really friendly and spoke English which was a plus. The sandwiches are made right in front of you and they come out very quick. I got the #8 and it was delicious!! I highly recommend taking the sandwich to go and eating it on the top floor of the library down the street. Great view of the Duomo with a great sandwich!!
