Best sushi in Boston, hands down. Expect a long wait though, however you can take it to go
Went there for dinner last night and overall had a good meal. The restaurant is TINY! When I say tiny, I mean T-I-N-Y! They only have the sushi bar, which seats about 10 people at most and one table that seats maybe 4/5 people. It almost reminds me of those tiny sushi place you can only find in Japan. Onto the food: we ordered a bunch of stuff, and I'll share what I can remember -miso soup: too salty, only like 5 tiny pieces of tofu in there. Wouldn't order again - garden salad: it had peanut butter dressing, not what I expected but tasted ok, won't order again. - toro tataki with caviar: tasted pretty good -toro with truffle oil and gold flakes: this dish was the star of the night! Would definitely come back just for that! - torched sushi: I got the fluke, toro, sea urchin from Maine. Toro was the best, I wouldn't get the other two again. Uni is only good if it's from Japan. I can't have non-Japanese uni anymore. I was spoiled when I was in Japan lol Service was ok. They rushed us out when we're done eating. I can understand that since they have tiny restaurant and people are waiting.
Incredibly rude manager. She does not listen at all, when you ask her twice she gets upset. Food is not authentic Japanese style but maki was very good.
