Perfectly cooked salmon appetizers, oysters and French onion soup are the tastiest dishes. Spend a nice time here and share tasty crème brûlée, chocolate terrine and chocolate bomb with your friends. Most people suppose that you can try good draft beer, marsala or white wine at this restaurant. A lot of visitors order great latte, ice tea or cappuccino.

Children can choose dishes from the kids' menu. The terrific staff at Old Anglers Inn can show how much they value their guests. The cool service is something these restaurateurs care about. Clients of this place note that they found prices low. The spectacular fireplace and nice atmosphere let visitors feel relaxed here. 4.1 is what this spot got from the Google rating system.

Overall we enjoyed the food and ambiance-it's really pretty at night with the lights, fountains and flowers. I was hesitant about our reservations after seeing all the horrible reviews and we received a call for our reservation confirmation and they had the wrong time. It was only 30 minutes earlier that what we had made it to be so we kept it. We showed up exactly at 7:30 for our reservation and waited until 8:20 to be seated. While we were waiting we made back up reservations for another place but we had waited so long I didn't want to leave. Once we were seated we enjoyed ourselves and we would return again in the future. Our waiter was kind of off putting but we barely had to interact with him so it wasn't that bad.

This one star is for disappointing lack of menu options for vegetarians. Several people in our party this week ordered the lentil burger and, may I say, underwhelmed. $22 for an overpriced lentil burger that tastes like a hippy experiment back in the day in the 1960s? Ingredients: ordinary (mushy) lentils with rice as a binder, with a touch of salt. This is 2021. Unless you live under a rock, you know that people are clamoring for delicious veggie/vegan burger options these days. And they're out there. But not at Old Angler's.

Located near the Potomac River, Old Anglers Inn is a rustic old Maryland sytle restaurant. The service was amazing! The crab cakes were very good (light on the tartar sauce). The cheese plate was fun, the pickled mini cucumbers were my favorite! The French fries were amazing! The coffee was amazing! My rule though, if parking is awful - you lose a star. The parking was horrific. We saw a car back into one of the guardian rocks as it tried to pull out!. Great place, eating outdoors was a treat!
