Come here for a drink after a long walk around Central Park. Japanese cuisine is provided at this restaurant. Most guests of Old Town Sushi state that tasty nigiri, seaweed salads and teriyaki chicken are served here. Tea lovers will find it good.

At this place, you can order food as a takeaway. But this spot didn't gain a high score on the Zomato rating list.

Welcome to the iron stomach challenge. You pay regardless and the challenge is whether you'll be able to make it home safe and sound. It all started when we were waiting to be seated despite seeing empty seats. This should've been our first warning to leave but we pressed forward as this was not my first time here. Having been here on several occasions I can see what the normal practices are and they will leave vegetables out in the open with no coverage or refrigeration. I'm not an expert on food safety but leaving food out all day long doesn't seem safe to me. Despite knowing all these things we had the chicken katsu and tempura combo and being deep fried - I assumed this was safer than the raw fish options. We were very wrong. After several bites my wife complained of pain in the stomach, I assumed it was something we had prior as it should not react as fast so we decided to leave early and packed away all the food. Once home I decided to heat up some of the food to enjoy and after a few bites, I start to feel dehydrated and here comes the part you don't want to hear. I don't know what constitutes food poisoning but it felt like that may have been the case. You have been warned! Should you accept the challenge, be prepared to pay for subpar service and food that will give you decent cleaning. Many have taken the challenge and you'll see by searching "stomach" in the search for reviews to find former winners and losers.
Food portions are very good for its price and I see lots customers, which means the fish is very fresh. Even though this is not an expensive high end Japanese restaurant, it does try to take care its customers. I made a mistake in my ordering that I realized right away when the food shows up. After double checking the menu and telling the staff, they were super nice to offer to fix my mistake and give me what I actually wanted. It's a small loss of revenue for them but their effort is very much appreciated. Hopefully my tip makes up some of it.
Great spot for some pretty good sushi.  Always expect a wait here unless you get pretty lucky because there aren't too many seatings inside and there are usually a lot of people waiting for here to eat.   One thing I love about this place is the gigantic and huge portions of sushi they give.  Service is a little icky but the food makes up for it. Although this isn't my usual to go spot, i'd love to always come back here whenever I am in the mood for big sushi rolls :).
