We went to the tavern today b4 flying bk to Louisiana n our bartender Polly was absolutely amazing we loved her disposition n she was one of the best bartenders I've encounter n yrs of traveling n we just wanted holla n let her know we appreciated her attitude, personality, n skills n attentiveness. Lol I can't say enough. It wasn't forced she's just a natural Beautiful creature n we hope to return sometime n the near future n will definitely send friends n family to c her. Food was GREAT! Would 100% eat here again...BUT... REQUEST TO HAVE SOMEONE OTHER THAN MICHELLE. Seemed to be the service "manager". She made very rude comments to my daughter and to my wife. My wife asks, "Is our daughter allowed here?" *she turns to my 9 y/o daughter* "Apparently your mommy thinks you're in a bar... This is a restaurant, honey..." It literally says , "Old Town Tavern & Beer Garden"... Doesn't exactly scream kid friendly. She was aggressive, loud, and uncaring. She was also rude to her other coworkers. Really turned the whole experience into a bad one. Once she knew I was pissed, it was, "yes sir, no mamn" nonsense. As a business manager myself, I was very disappointed. Honestly, I can't express the amount of disappointment. Again, FOOD and other staff WAS WONDERFUL. Get rid of her and it would've been 5 stars... THE FOOD THOUGH.... SOOO GOOD!
