Went here for a wedding dinner, and the location in Old Town Scottsdale is superb. They have a massive open air patio, with shrubbery and trees around the edge. Gives you a cozy, away-from-it-all type feeling. Friendly staff and good food. Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

We love the ambience and outdoor dining areas and the nostalgia of this long time establishment. that being said, I’m not sure why they can’t get it together with the food. The food has no flavor. It feels like they have zero spices back in the kitchen. Seriously, I love Mexican food and make it a lot at home. I’ve never had Mexican food with no flavor.I just don’t get it. The tortillas are the big hook here as they’re made in House. he received tortillas like he would chips and salsa and other restaurants. The tortillas are undercooked and also flavorless. We gave this restaurant more chance since all the restaurants were packed and had a long wait. There are hundreds of restaurants in the area to choose from, and we will Be looking elsewhere in the future. Again, spices and flavoring. You can buy them at the grocery store and put it in the food. There is no reason why this long-term restaurant with a great location and great ambience can’t have great food as well. Would not take much to change this. But seriously, try not to be offended by this post and just make the necessary adjustments. If you ask patrons, how is everything, they will normally just Say, oh it was great. They are not telling you the truth. Just tire a chef to come in and give you some tips and how to make your food better. You have a lot of competition in the area for this type of cuisine. Your location An outdoor eating area with individuals who have never been to the area is this restaurant Is busy. It ain’t the food. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5 Parking space: Difficult to find parking Parking options: Free street parking

This very quaint and very outdoorsy, brightly lit, and comfortable South of the Border Vibe is terrific! Outdoor table settings and bright lights make for a romantic evening for drinks and dinner in one of Arizona’s most beautiful of nights. We had the very good Sames Original Margarita with Sauza, and a simple ice-cold Bohemia for drinks. To appetize ourselves we went for the very good Chorizo Fundido. For dinner we had the well-prepared Pork Verde with green chili tomatillo with stewed tomato was pretty darn good as was their rendition of a Green Enchilada with chicken along with their rice Cortez and black beans. But, as for the culinary superiority of the Old Town Tortilla Factory’s southwestern food in general, it lacks what many others have. Don’t get me wrong. It’s not bad, but it’s not the best – I can’t seem to find distinguishing qualities of uniqueness. It’s an excellent place to enjoy a romantic evening, but not the high quality of intensive excellence one would expect of such restaurant. We plan on returning, but when we’re looking for an excellent ambience, atmosphere, and outdoor pizzazz. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Enchiladas Verdes, Chips and Salsa, Sauce, Old Town Tacos, Margherita, Guacamole
