From the food, atmosphere, and decor to the AMAZING staff, I can't begin to tell you how much we enjoyed this restaurant. Elegance with down home southern hospitality. We had the Country Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. The best compliment to the chef was the complete silence at our table. Next time we will have a week of reservations for lunch!
We started the evening by arriving before our reservation to enjoy a drink in the downstairs tavern. The hostess made a note of our arrival and about the time we finished our first drinks she collected us to show us to our dinner table in the main dining room 15 minutes before our reserved time which suited us fine. We split the BLT fried green tomato and sweet bacon salad as well as the cornbread fried oysters. Both are wonderful but we preferred the oysters and next time would get those on a salad. My husband had the braised pork shank with mac n cheese and collards. The pork and collards were super tasty. I opted for their dinner special of crab stuffed grouper which is one of my favorites so I was thrilled it was offered during our visit. Service was well practiced. Nice, but a bit rehearsed and frankly overkill for patrons who are not first timers.
Today was my first time, eating at The Pink House. The food was amazing! Our waiter Anthony "TJ" and manager Rachel were phenomenal! Great staff!
