Having seen City Museum of Merida, it's time to have a rest at this pizzeria. If you like the Italian cuisine, you should visit Oliva. The cooks here prepare good caprese salads, shrimp pasta and calamari. It's worth visiting this place because of perfectly cooked crème brûlée, tiramisu and chocolate cakes. Get your meal started with delicious pinot grigio, white wine or beer. Great cortado is a good choice for the first time you visit this spot.

The cosy atmosphere of this pizzeria makes guests feel relaxed and have a nice time. The nice staff welcomes visitors all year round. Fine service is a strong point that plays a great role for the success of Oliva. Prices here are reported to be fair. As a number of reviewers affirm, this place has the homey decor. The overall score of this spot on Google is 4.7.

I had the rosmarina, it was ok, my wife ordered the lasagna, it was really less than mediocre, soggy, cold and the taste was like canned ravioli. Service was ok, it is set up like a food court at a mall . The plaza itself is awesome but there are much better food choices. I will say the tiramisu was good. Overall the worst dining experience we had in Merida

For those who travel for food, this is the type of place that makes a trip totally worth it. Intimate and unpretentious, this little gem with only 5 tables is certainty a place you'll remember and want to come back again and again. We visited Oliva Kitchen on a Monday night so we had no problem finding a table. We were 5 people and we ordered the bruschetta, meatballs, and a few pastas (pomodoro, fiore verde, and cabornara). I tried all of the food and it was all delicious, but the carbonara deserves a special mention. I've been obsessed with carbonara for some time now - read about how to cook the authentic carbonara, and attempted a few recipes a couple of times now. The flavor of this carbonara is definitely what I'm aiming for! The egg-based sauce is creamy and has traces of smokey bacon and spicy pepper; the pasta was perfectly cooked and all flavors were balanced and spotted on. Keep up the GREAT work!!
