Love this place food was delicious and the portions are huge!!! Had the cabbage side today. I wish I would have gotten 4 more orders to bring home. The best I ever have had. Is it only available certain days? No photos because I inhaled all I bought. My only minor gripe was my salad was way light on feta and not at my request.

The food is fabulous! Truly is and I am not prone to hyperbole when it comes to food. I love Greek food, and Opa Opa Taverna exceeded my expectations. I have tried the gyro, kabob platter, cheesecake and one of my favorite desserts, galaktoboureko. All was flavorful, authentic and plentiful. The portions are huge, definitely enough for 2 meals for me. I did finish the galaktoboureko, custard pie with phyllo dough and honey in one evening lol. The restaurant is in a easy to get too location with plenty of parking. The staff are so friendly and helpful. They all speak Greek so I get to practice some of my Greek again. So excited a really authentic and great Greek restaurant is in Myrtle Beach.
