10 year old Alex had dinner with his family at Ballard Annex Oyster House in March while visiting Seattle Children's Hospital and became friends with Chef, Jaymi Stahnke and other staff. While Alex couldn't quite convince himself to try an oyster, he did say the Burgers and Fries are the best he's ever eaten.Chef Jaymi invited him to name an oyster dish for to put on the menu for the month of April and Alex chose "Super Hero Oysters". Yep, they're on the menu and anyone ordering "Super Hero Oysters" will be helping to pay for Alex's bone marrow transplant. Ballard Annex Oyster House will donate the proceeds from the sale of Super Hero Oysters to help Alex's family pay for transplant expenses. Ballard Annex staff also are helping by registering with Be the Match to help Alex find a donor and are encouraging their friends and customers to register too. The management and staff here are AMAZING! Stop by and tell them Alex sent you and try the "Super Hero Oysters".
