Had a birthday dinner with company on a Monday night. Usually eat here when we are in Sundsvall and have been satisfied before but.... As usual I ordered a Fillet mignon black and white, well done, because I dislike bloody meat. In my world, "well done" does not mean a piece of meat that has been fried so hard that it is dry and blackened, but that is apparently how the chef at Opus interprets it. It could be a coincidence, but it shouldn't be allowed to happen in a restaurant kitchen. The fact that one of the staff was smoking outside so the smoke swept over our table did not make matters any better. A little sharpening would be good. Vegetarian options: According to the tableware, the kitchen did not have all the ingredients so the chef freebaseed with approved results.
