So glad we managed to get a table for Sunday roast at this great dog friendly venue. An historic pub in a great location next door to the beautiful Grade I 13th century Church of All Saints (worth a visit). The roast was fantastic! And the sharing dessert was a Candy floss dream (had to get a takeaway box!) Great selection of alcohol free wine, and a doggy menu! May even make a second visit on our 1 week holiday, it was THAT good! Nearby activities: Grade I church, lovely historic village, the Lifeboat Inn (beautiful old inn also good shopping at the Thornham deli for lifestyle, clothing, gifts and local food to take home and Drove Orchards, lovely ladies clothes retail, food outlets and don't miss the vintage/antiques, art gallery and ice cream parlour and the back of the estate! The staff are extremely friendly. The food at breakfast and dinner time was excellent. Very dog friendly. Our 3rd time of stopping there. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Luxury
