Having to line up for a booked table and then line up to order food! Ridiculous. Took over an hour before we even got to order. Lots of complaints happening. DO NOT go here if you expect normal table service or are going to a show. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

It used to be run by Chinese people before covid and the food and yum cha were excellent. Now their is no yum cha and the food was terrible was so disappointed. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: $40–60

We went on a busy Saturday night and were unfortunately given the table closest to the door, counter and bar despite having booked a week in advance. This restaurant does not offer table service and once people began queuing to order their food and drinks, our table was completely inundated with people waiting to order food, drinks, or trying to get to the queues. This went on for the duration of our meal, and we felt as though we were on exhibition with the way queuing people gawked at us, the food, and my children. The queue was so close to the table people were constantly bumping into us while we ate and our table may as well have been set up in the middle of the queue. We couldn’t hear each other, we couldn’t comfortably move our chairs out from the table as there was always someone wanting to ‘squeeze past’. It was so unenjoyable and uncomfortable we didn’t bother ordering dessert, we took our drinks and went to another part of the club. Orient could quite easily rectify this issue by moving the queue to the counter side of the doorway, allowing the overflow to wait in the walkway at the entrance to the restaurant - or - bring back table service!
