We tried to go to this restaurant to eat dinner but was already full and we didn’t have a reservation, so we made immediately a reservation for the next day for lunch. Because we didn’t want to eat a lot, we ordered as an appetizer cascavallo cheese with anchovies (I don’t even like anchovies but wanted to give it a try!) a seafood salad and as a main plate - a risotto with lobster shrimp and asparagus - our intention was to split everything between us, but the staff understood that we were going to split the food and so they served the risotto in separated plates, which was great! The food was super tasty and fresh, the staff very nice and the place is pretty. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €30–40
Osteria Mercede is the best restaurant in Palermo to eat fish and to drink wine. The chef and owner, Helios, is a kind and professional person that spent all his life to study and practice the art of cooking. He also won 2 years ago the price for the best chef in Italy in the tv show competition "Cuochi d'Italia", this is not a coincidence, it is the best way to recognize his expertise and love for the sea and fish.
