Pretty darn good pizza, quite simple when it comes to atmosphere and service, but good pizza and cold beer are sometimes all you need. Meatball pizza is recommended for those who like it Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

I've eaten A LOT of pizza in my day as a heavy set pizza loving man. And I've got to say osteria is my familys favorite! A short and simple menu. Always a sign of people who know what they make well, and refuse to sacrifice quality for quantity. I've traveled following Barstools top pizzas reviews and osteria beats each out of them out of the park. This ain't your sloppy greasy Greek football pizza. This is a artinisal masterpiece of flavors wadeing over your tongue. The sauce 10/10 The cheese 9/10 - for a pepperoni pie we like getting extra cheese. The curst 10/10 The margarita pizza is the best I've had. The sausage pepper and onion pizza was absolutely out of this world and cooked to perfection. We're working our way down the menu and haven't had anything we didn't like yet. Haven't had a bad pie from them yet! We order pizzas well done to get a better crunch, and that forever changed my perception of what a good pizza is. The staff is also really nice and welcoming and definitely gives a family vibe. As long as they're still here We'll be coming here for years to come for sure! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My experience yesterday: A Plus! A friend and I were on an all-day bike ride of 60-plus miles, and at about mile 26 his crank cracked, broke off completely, meaning NO pedaling possible. We had noticed Osteria Peppino Pizzeria on our right as we cycled a back road. So we walked back, came into their lot, and immediately Mike came out. "You guys OK?" he asked. My cycling buddy showed Mike the mechanical failure, and Mike said, "I have a pickup truck. You can put your bikes into my truck and I'll drive you both to where you need to be. But why don't you have lunch first." Well, we were amazed at Mike's generosity! We split a yummy and fresh Italian sub served by their delightful waitress who has a lovely Polish accent. We came up with a very do-able "battle plan" regarding our biking "issue," and while eating our sub we saw the most amazing-looking pizza go by. My buddy immediately said with a smile, "I'm taking my wife here for dinner soon!" Mike then drove us 3 miles down the road to the rail trail, my buddy waited by the river while I cycled back to my car in Peabody at the start of the trail, and within an hour I was back to pick him up - with his broken bike. This was a day full of adventure, and we thank Mike and all at Osteria Peppino Pizzeria for these happy memories. Such kindness, generosity, and yummy food, too!
