This is the hardest review I’ve ever had to give, mainly because I’m so full I have to take a break every few words. This place was incredible, the atmosphere was perfect!!! PERFECT I SAY! Anyway, so the place was great, and don’t get me started on the burger. This burger, was like the burger Marshall described in How I Met Your Mother. This isn’t just a burger, this was God speaking to us in food. Hands down, immediately became my favorite burger. The portions are generous as well. Listen, I’m a good sized fella, I can hold my own against a burger, but this burger...I had the meat sweats half way through, I wanted, no needed to tap out. I couldn’t though, I could not show that level of disrespect to the artist that made that burger to not finish it. I waddled out of there miserably full and happy. Do yourself a favor and visit, good food, great atmosphere if you just want to grab and drink and hang out too. You’ve got a lifelong fan Our House. P.S. whoever was our server, you were exceptional. I didn’t catch your name, but if I had to go up those steps as many times as you did my customer service would be non-existent, but you were still great the entire time.

The best prime rib I've had in my life!!! Beautiful, inviting, welcoming, and friendly atmosphere. Everyone should support this small town business. May God bless all of you.

For years I've been driving by Our House restaurant and wondered about it. Last night my husband and I were musing about where to go for dinner, and we remembered this one. We arrived around 6:00 on Friday night and were seated immediately. The restaurant started getting crowded pretty quickly, though! Our table was upstairs in a charming loft-style room that overlooked the October foliage. Very pretty! Our server, Joe, was charming and enthusiastic. He brought us a basket of crackers which were surprisingly delicious. They had a savory cheesy-spice layer that was addictive. I ordered the smoked salmon with dill sauce on the side, squash, and pimento mac & cheese. My husband ordered an apple butter burger with fries. A different server brought our food to the table. My Friday-night-teacher-brain was so tired that I didn't notice my plate was not exactly what I ordered. The server asked if everything looked okay, and I nodded and smiled. After she left, I realized that the sauce was ON the fish, and I had mashed potatoes instead of mac & cheese. Oh well, it was my fault for not speaking up! The food was perfectly cooked -- I loved the salmon, even with dill sauce. The sauteed squash was wonderful, just as good as from my summer garden. The potatoes, however, weren't as satisfying, so I left those on the plate. My husband said his burger was great. It was freshly prepared and the mix of spicy-sweet was especially tasty. When we left, the parking lot was packed. People were waiting for others to leave so they could take their spot. I'm glad we got there early. There was even a friendly little black and white cat walking around outside, greeting those who stopped to pet him! He made the Our House experience that much better. We will definitely be back for another date night meal. I hope to try some of the other menu items. The menu is pretty limited, but what they have is done well.
